SNF Excited to be Represented on the Board of Directors of MBOT

Susanne Balpataky, a partner with SNF, was one of three new directors elected to the Board of Directors of the Mississauga Board of Trade at its Annual General Meeting held on December 13, 2016. Susanne also sits on the Policy and Government Affairs Committee of MBOT. Susanne is thrilled to be given the opportunity to work with the other dedicated members of the Board in representing the business community and to promote and further business in Mississauga.

SNF’s 2016 Spring Food Drive and Community Volunteer Event

In the spirit of giving back to the Mississauga community, SNF held a spring food drive to support the Mississauga Food Bank. We are pleased to report that the food drive was a tremendous success! SNF collected 40 grocery bags of food equivalent to 256 pounds of food!

As well, on March 30, 2016, several members of SNF, including lawyers, law clerks and legal assistants, volunteered their time at the Mississauga Food Bank to help feed those in need in our community. Through our efficient teamwork, we were able to sort food equivalent to 3,389 meals!

SNF Wins Mississauga Board of Trade Award: Employer of the Year

Partner, Irving Fox took to the stage with Rose Avarino to accept the award and reminded the attendees that we are all privileged to be doing business in the City of Mississauga. He gave full credit for the award to Rose Avarino, a 17-year SNF veteran, whose drive to promote SNF’s attributes was an important factor in SNF’s award.

He further recognised the importance of the SNF team, as a whole, and reminded the audience that a business is only as good as its parts and that a positive team mentality is crucial to the success of any business.
